Public BBQ

A lovely reserve beside a creek with good parking, free barbecues, shelters, toilets and a playground that works well for children's birthday parties. The play equipment is interesting and built across several levels, best suited to roughly five to ten year olds, and scooters are worth bringing. A skate bowl is very close by. Two things to plan for: the playground has little flat ground around it, so the soccer fields across the way are better for a kickabout; and when soccer is on the car parks fill completely and the site becomes a maze of fields and vehicles, which makes simply finding the playground surprisingly hard.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
